Section 295-A of the Pakistan Penal Code punishes "deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class of citizens of Pakistan" by insulting, or attempting to insult, its religion or religious beliefs, by words spoken or written, by signs or by visible representations.

Wilfully defiling, damaging or desecrating a copy of the Holy Quran or using it in a derogatory manner.

PPC Section 295-C: Use of derogatory remarks, etc., in respect of the Holy Prophet

Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code punishes anyone who "by words, either spoken or written, or by visible representation or by any imputation, innuendo, or insinuation, directly or indirectly, defiles the sacred name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)".

Added in 2025. Creates the Social Media Protection and Regulatory Authority, which can order social media platforms to remove or block content (section 2R) and hears complaints about 'fake information'.
